EDGAR COUNTY FAIR
Queen Pageant
The 2026 Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant will be held Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the amphitheater. The reigning Queen is Chloe Martin of Paris.

The Little Miss Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant, featuring 20 five and six year old girls, will be held in conjunction with the selection of the 2026 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant. Pryor Trogdon of Paris is the reigning Little Miss Queen.
The 2026 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will serve as the official hostess of all the fair activities, assisted by the 2026 Little Miss Edgar County Fair Queen. In addition, the 2026 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will represent Edgar County in the 2027 Miss Illinois County Fair Pageant held during the annual IAAF convention in Springfield next January.
Each Queen is awarded a variety of prizes and gifts donated by local businesses and industries. In addition, the 2026 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will receive a diamond crown ring presented by Current and Former Pageant Directors upon the completion of her reign.
HARNESS RACING
The Kentucky Derby is often called the most exciting 2 minutes in sports, but did you know the Edgar County Harness races can bring the same thrill, in person? You can feel the excitement deep in your chest as the horses round the turn and head for the finish line! Bring your family and friends, pick out your favorite horses and cheer them on!
T&A BUCKING BULLS RODEO
Attendees can look forward to an action-packed lineup including thrilling bull riding, ranch bronc riding, exhilarating barrel racing, and fun-filled mutton busting, creating an unforgettable experience for rodeo enthusiasts and families alike.
AG OLYMPICS

Get ready for one of the most entertaining events of the fair! The Ag Olympics has something for everyone, starting with kids as young as 5 years old all the way up to adults ready to join in on the fun.
From catching rabbits to racing to the finish line with a slippery watermelon, contestants will compete in a variety of hilarious and exciting challenges. And when the adults step in to compete for first place, you never know what kind of laughs are in store!
This is small-town county fair fun at its finest, full of energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. You won’t want to miss it!
TRUCK & TRACTOR
PULL
You can’t have a county fair without a truck and tractor pull and ours is one of the best! Bring your earplugs and come and enjoy the shear display of pure power!
DEMO DERBY
“The Derby” has become almost synonymous with county fairs! Wholesome entertainment that packs a punch! Release your tension as you root on your favorite car! There are always a few surprises as drivers vie for the coveted champion trophy.
